Great piece TJ...

TJ.... You nailed it. I had the greatest respect and enjoyment out of Hitchens in the past and was rolling my eyes after he jumped on the bandwagon.

Yep, Hitchens has definitely lost it - this is but the latest confirmation. What surprises me is that Vanity Fair publisher Graydon Carter (himself a convert to the Iraq debacle, but now an avowed skeptic) continues to put up with Hitchens' mental meltdown. I would have given up on VF ages ago if it weren't for the fact that I work in the media biz and their historical takes on that biz are fascinating and unique (oh, and their $16 subscription rate is akin to giving the mag away).

If you REALLY wanna know what makes Hitchens tick, you'll have to stop by our blog and read about his recent 'conversation/debate' with George Bush.

You can extrapolate from there. Best.
