Medical Marijuana is a topic more to Torrid's taste than mine, but I have to briefly comment.
The State's Rights Trio must have chuckled:
The Rhode Island legislature passed a bill yesterday allowing the use of medical marijuana, three weeks after the Supreme Court ruled that federal authorities could prosecute those who use the drug for medicinal purposes, even in states with laws allowing it.
That's an entertaining sentence.

As with eminent domain, which Senators Nelson (FL) and Clyburn have in fact taken up, the SCOTUS marijuana decision was a challenge to Congress to clean up its mess. Sadly, I fear the challenge will not be anywhere nearly as quickly met, if at all, for medical pot.
